Live Embers

You may be one and not even know it!  Since it involves a few criteria, let me mention a few:  over 50 years of age, member of Dallas Baptist Sunday School, or Church Fellowship, or be a friend of a member.  This is a lively group since a spark still burns for a slice of ministry (service to the Lord and his church), as well as travel and sharing a good time.  We travel to the beach, mountains and all kinds of places in between several times a year.  There are special events, parties and meals.  Also you will have many opportunities to help with Thanksgiving and Christmas for needy families.  We help with mission trip preparations, school supplies, and Halloween treats. Sometimes we slow down long enough to catch our breath and have a meal together.  Bingo is always a highlight in January.   Once in a while we venture out of town on a shopping trip, some of our gang has been spotted at a Myrtle Beach Theater for the Christmas Show.  Come join us and be a Live Ember!
