1879- Dallas Baptist Church was organized

1959- The church established the South Maple Street mission which later became Gaston Baptist Church

1985- New activity building was built
1990- First woman deacon
1991- Adopted a new church constitution
1995- A new van was purchased
1997- New church sign was erected
1998- New media system was installed
2002- Church was incorporated
2003-2004- Towers were reconstructed
2007- Phone tree system was installed
2008- Activity building was renovated
2008- A new organ and the Hanna property were purchased
