Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County is not able to allow volunteers to be on a build site like they have in the past, so some creative opportunities have arisen.
Dallas Baptist Church will host a stud signing. The goal for Habitat is to surround the home in scripture and prayers.
For our worship service on 2/21/21, we will host two studs for a Habitat for Humanity of Gaston County build. Worshippers will be asked to come forward to write scripture or prayers of blessing on the stud during the service. The studs will then be placed in our parking lot (behind the playground) after the service if anyone else (from our church or other churches) would like to participate. The studs will be in our parking lot from around 11:45am until 2pm.
Masks are encouraged, and hand sanitizer will be available.
