Job 38:1-7, 34-41 The book of Job illustrates both the personal and yet transcendent nature of God’s relationship with humans. Concerning his personal nature, God enters an intimate conversation with Job. Concerning his transcendence, God instructs (reminds?) Job of His role in the cosmic geography, e.g. foundations, footings, and cornerstone of the earth.
